Leaping Into the NET!

builds off this concept of freedom, and uses Internet technology as a

m e t a p h o r i c   v e h i c l e

to connect seemingly disparate themes

and moods revealed through modern dance

arrangements. The performance shall provide for two distinct audience experiences,

introducing    an    original    marriage
between    technology    and    the
performing     arts.

The performance aspect is twofold. First, there will be a live performance that will utilize projected web pages to  e n h a n c e  the concert experience. Second, Internet audiences will be able to   e x p l o r e  an interactive version of the concert on-line.

Using a hyperlink approach to presenting dance will create a unique experience for viewers. With visual imagery preceding each piece, the audience will have the opportunity to
