Rosidi Ahmad came to the United States sponsored by the Malaysian government to study at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. In 1994 he earned his bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering from CWRU, and three years later he finished his master's degree in electrical engineering from CWRU. It was during his studies at CWRU that Rosidi was introduced to modern dance and performed three seasons with the Mather Dance Collective, directed by Frankie Hart, and in Collections, directed by Sarah Morrison.
Rosidi resides in Chesterland, Ohio and works as a testing and manufacturing engineer for Keithley Instruments in Cleveland.
